The capital of the island Tobago is Scarborough. The city became in the 18. Century of Scottish settlers established, approximately 17.000 inhabitants live in Scarborough today.

The Fort King George, lain high over the city, offers the possibility to enjoy a picturesque panorama from airy height. The museum in the fort arranges the visitor an interesting overview over the changing and adventurous history of the island. Whoever looks for recuperation of the urban bustle gets rest and relaxation in the botanical gardens.

In the downtown of Scarborough, the central bus-railway station of the island lies. As well the main-office of the tourist-information, the main-mail and the library.
